*Brooklyn Coffee has closed down since January 2019*

A good cup of coffee does make your day better, doesn’t it?

After having a leisure breakfast at Old Spitalfields Market, me and my friend were just wandering around the area. We came across Brooklyn Coffee and we’re instantly attracted to its minimalistic design and decided to sit down for a coffee.

The coffee shop is actually quite small but the minimalistic design has made the space look brighter and more spacious. There are seats along the window sills as well as a long bench right outside the shop.

The shop specialises in artisan Caravan blended coffee as well as drip coffees and iced coffees. The air is simply filled with the beautiful aroma from the coffee beans as you step into the shop. The staffs are also very friendly to greet us.

I ordered my favourite Flat White and my friend got a Macchiato.

The coffee carries a hint of floral aroma. The aroma simply filled up our area as our coffee was served to our table. As I took a sip of my Flat White, the alluring rich flavours were spread all over my taste buds, giving me such a great satisfactory sensation. The blend was very smooth with a velvety texture. The flavour of the coffee was very pleasant It has the right balance of natural sweetness and bitterness, and it doesn’t leave a sour aftertaste in your mouth.

All in all, it was such a pleasant discovery to have found this coffee shop. It carries a unique character and you can tell that they are proper passionate on their coffees. It’s just a small place but precisely because it’s small, they serve you with the most authentic taste of coffee. You know where to get your coffee next time when you’re around the area!
