“Follow your nose…buns are very close” they say. They are indeed very close to us as our favourite bakery, Buns From Home, has opened a second branch at Holland Park! It might not be the best news to our waistlines and wallets, but we don’t care as our daily walks have just gotten a lot more delicious with these heavenly croissant buns along the way. We’re a hundred per cent over the moon for this news.
Buns From Home Opens in Holland Park
If you don’t already know, we absolute adore Buns From Home. We loved their start-up story, are borderline obsessed with every bakery goodness they have on the menu, and couldn’t be more thrilled to see them thriving and expanding. It’s especially inspiring that they are a business that started out of lockdown back in 2020. From baking at mum’s kitchen to crowdfunding and opening their first store in Notting Hill, Buns From Home is the definition of stealing everyone’s heart and bellies. Their Holland Park branch is conveniently located just a stone’s throw away from the Holland Park underground station. It remains a small grab-and-go shop, featuring the same homely vibes as their original Notting Hill store but with a little extra rustic touch. The menu stays the same. Anything you can get from their original shop, including their weekend specials, you can get it here. Hot drinks such as coffees and teas are also available at the store. The only thing we feel missing is seating but we usually just grab-and-go anyway.
Artisanal Croissant Buns – Same Quality, Same Deliciousness
Expanding their operation doesn’t mean getting sloppy on quality. Their buns remain at high quality – perfectly laminated and well-layered, beautifully aromatic, and feature an irresistible crisp as you bite into it. You won’t see classic cinnamon buns the same way anymore after you’ve tried this upgraded version of them as Buns From Home has the genius idea of using artisanal croissant dough to make them.
