Grease each ramekin with olive oil. Fill each ramekin halfway with boiled water.
Carefully crack an egg into each ramekin. Briefly season each egg with a pinch of sea salt then place the ramekins into the air fryer basket.
Set your air fryer to 200C and cook for 6-7 minutes.
Carefully remove the ramekins from the air fryer basket and carefully spoon the egg out.
Notes
Each air fryer may work a little differently. I’ve noted down the recipe to cook for 6-7 minutes, which is the timing range that worked for me. It should generally work with other air fryers too but do test out where the sweet spot (+/- 1min) is for your own air fryer.
To check if the poached egg is ready or not, gently slot a spoon around the edges to see if the whites have set. It may still look very liquidy in the ramekin but it usually is ready and cooking it any longer would turn it into a set boiled egg.
Be gentle. Poached eggs are delicate so make sure you spoon the egg out of the ramekin very gently so it doesn't break.
