For instance, Old Chang Kee here has decided to launch a frozen delivery service which I find to be quite a genius idea!
Yes, many restaurants are open for delivery. We are incredibly lucky to have services like Deliveroo and UberEats actively operating all around London. But one setback is that your choices can be rather limited to your delivery range. What Old Chang Kee is offering here is a frozen delivery service, i.e. delivering their delicious dishes in frozen form all across London and even nationwide. This means, no matter where you live, you can just easily follow the reheating instructions and enjoy their lip-smacking delicious food at the comfort of your own home at any time.
Old Chang Kee Food
Old Chang Kee is a Singaporean street-food style eatery in Central London, with one branch in Covent Garden, the other in Fitzrovia.
I have always enjoyed popping by their shop for their curry puffs as a quick bite. My favourite one is the Chicken & Egg Curry Puff. Those curry puffs are most definitely a winner if you have never tried them before. The pastry was so beautifully buttery, flakey, and was filled with a generous amount of aromatic curry.
Apart from their winning curry puffs, they also serve a range of curries, which are included on their frozen delivery menu. They’ve got typical Singaporean curries, as well as rendangs. My favourites are the Dry Chicken Curry and the Chicken Rendang. If you’re looking for vegetarian or vegan options, they have a Tofu & Mixed Vegetable Curry as well as Jackfruit Rendang.
