Iced Nutella Latte Recipe

If there’s anything better than the smell of coffee first thing in the morning, it’s Nutella coffee! I mean, who doesn’t love Nutella, right? Nutella’s like the magic ingredient that just makes everything better, especially in coffee. We recently made a Nutella Iced Chocolate – that’s for my other half who doesn’t like coffee. But if you’re like me and enjoy a daily hit of coffee, then keep reading on for my Iced Nutella Latte recipe!

Why You’d Love This Iced Nutella Latte Recipe

Instead of paying the cafe price tag, you can make your own Iced Nutella Latte cheaper and better! This Iced Nutella Latte recipe is super simple and easy to follow. That chocolatey hazelnut goodness from Nutella just works with coffee. You simply blend the Nutella with your shot of espresso and pour it into a glass of iced milk. Top it off with a layer of whipped cream (or Nutella whipped cream if you’re feeling for something extra hazelnut-y) and you have the perfect summer drink in hand in no time.

How to make Iced Nutella Latte

Ingredients you need

  • Nutella
  • Espresso/Instant Coffee
  • Milk – I use whole milk. You can use any milk of your choice
  • Ice
  • Sugar/Sweetener (optional)
  • Whipped Cream (optional) – for topping

Recipe Notes

  • Make sure you have blended the Nutella with the hot coffee first before adding it to the ice & milk. This is because the Nutella would, otherwise, firm up when in contact with the ice and cold milk and not mix well together. You will not have this problem if you blend it with the coffee first.
  • Personally, I find the latte flavour just right without adding any sugar or additional sweetener. However, if you prefer your coffee a little sweeter, please do feel free to add some according to your preference!
  • Want to recreate those Nutella patterns on my glass? Simply scoop a spoonful of Nutella and just randomly dot them around the inside of the glass before you start making the drink!

Notes

  • My personal preference is no need to add any sugar or sweetener but if you prefer your latte to taste sweeter, stir your sugar/sweetener into the hot coffee together with the Nutella in step 1. The amount to add is completely up to your personal taste!
  • Make sure you have blended the Nutella with the hot coffee first before adding it to the ice & milk. This is because the Nutella would firm up when in contact with the ice and cold milk and not mix well together. You will not have this problem if you blend it with the coffee first.
