It’s that time of the year again. We are officially in the festive period as Winter Wonderland opens its doors once again in London Hyde Park. It’s open every day from 17th Nov to 1st Jan (except on Christmas Day) from 10 am-10 pm. Rides and funfair booths aside, food plays a big part in your Winter Wonderland experience. We’ve come a long way from having only churros & hot chocolate to lots more halal food options available at Winter Wonderland now year by year! In this article, we’ve put together a list of Winter Wonderland halal food options available for this year and have split them by areas to make it easier for you to find them.
Please note, unlike in previous years, you now need to purchase a ticket for entry to Winter Wonderland. Off-peak tickets are free, which is usually around morning and noon time. Otherwise, standard tickets will start at £5 per person and peak times from £7.50 per person. You will only be allowed entry on your selected day & arrival time and you are then welcome to stay there as long as you wish.
Where to Find Halal Food in Winter Wonderland
Street Food Village
Meathead Mexican
As one of Camden Market’s most popular halal food stalls, Meathead Mexican, is joining the Winter Wonderland line-up this year to serve you delicious halal birria tacos with a consomme dip. Whether it’s the slow-cooked pulled beef, chipotle chicken, or Achiote spiced lamb tacos, you’re definitely going to be in for a treat.
The Mac Factory
It doesn’t get more comforting than a hearty bowl of mac & cheese on a cold winter evening. Your cravings are all sorted at The Mac Factory, which has been a very popular pick at Winter Wonderland over the last few years. All toppings & fillings are halal except for the Parmesan crumble. Please ask for the herb crumble as a halal substitute.
E8 Fish
You cannot go wrong with a good ole’ plate of fish & chips. E8 Fish serves up a number of British classics including halal fish & chips (comes with homemade tarragon tartar, minty mushy peas topped with lemon & chives and Old Bay fries), calamari & chips, and battered cod brioche sandwich. Additionally, they are also serving halloumi fries this year!

Truffle London
Love burgers and love truffles? Then you’d be delighted to hear that Truffle Burger is trading at Winter Wonderland again this year! Having visited their Soho restaurants a few times before, we have enjoyed their Truffle Butter Burger and Truffle Honey Chicken Burger.
Chick N’ Sours
They’re known in Seven Dials and Haggerston for their disco wings and innovative flavours, which Chick N’ Sours are bringing a taste of to this year’s Winter Wonderland! It will just be in the simple form of fried chicken tenders & chips smothered in either Kung Pao or Buffalo sauce, but they will still be tasty nonetheless.
Halal Guys
The most obvious halal food option at Winter Wonderland is The Halal Guys! One can’t go wrong with their beef gyro & chicken combo platter, falafels, or wraps. No matter what you order, don’t miss out on their famous signature white sauce, which is an addictively delicious one and the secret sauce to their success in New York & beyond.
Oh My Dog!
You will be seeing loads of sausages and hot dogs around Winter Wonderland but they usually aren’t halal. Well, not anymore! You can find halal turkey sausage hot dogs at Oh My Dog!, as well as vegan/vegetarian options. All hot dogs are served in freshly baked demi-brioche bun and don’t forget to grab a side of chips as well.
Candy Cane Lane
Crome
Viral London French Toast spot, Crome, has also found itself a spot at Winter Wonderland this year! You can find a range of sweet treats there, including french toast sticks and the viral New York-style round-shaped supreme croissant. Don’t forget their amazing range of hot chocolates as well, including Ube Hot Chocolate, S’mores Hot Chocolate (halal), and more.
Dot Dot Bubble Tea
This is one for boba lovers. Dot Dot is at this year’s Winter Wonderland to satisfy all your bubble tea cravings as well as other Hong Kong-inspired hot drinks and bubble waffles. Whether it’s a traditional bubble milk tea or a warming cup of ginger milk tea, they are sure to satisfy your Asian cravings! Also, you just can’t go wrong with some bubble waffles, right?
The Ride Zone
EL&N
You won’t be able to miss the all-pink aesthetics of EL&N’s kiosk at Winter Wonderland. Find them at the Ride Zone serving up luxury hot chocolates (Lotus Biscoff hot chocolate with marshmallows & whipped cream anyone?) and churro doughnuts.
Billy Bob’s Fried Chicken
Looking for a juicy fried chicken burger? Then look out for Billy Bob’s Fried Chicken. All their fried chicken is marinated with garlic & buttermilk, then dredged through their signature spice mix to create a succulent mouth-watering delight. served with gourmet fries and a selection of craft sauces.

Churros Factory Mister Churros
If there’s a staple food at Winter Wonderland, it ought to be the churros! I must admit that Mister Churros is literally all I go for when visiting Winter Wonderland in previous years (back when it was still free entry). They’re fresh, hot, and beautifully dusted with cinnamon sugar – no visit to Winter Wonderland should end without having them. Personally, I find the extra chocolate sauce a tad bit too heavy so would recommend ordering without.
Love Churros
Here are more churros options available for you! If you want fancier churros, look out for Love Churros for their hot & filled churros. It doesn’t get more indulgent than freshly fried churros filled up to the brim with your pick of either Biscoff, Nutella, Kinder, or Dulce de Leche. Regular churros are also available, which come dusted with sugar and are served with a luscious Belgian chocolate dipping sauce.
The Sleigh-By
Wok Boy
Wok Boy is another popular halal Camden food stall to join the Winter Wonderland line-up. You simply can’t go wrong with a loaded box of Chinese chow mein, especially when they’re topped with some crispy Korean fried chicken as well!

The Mac Daddy
Instead of mac & cheese, The Mac Daddy is offering gourmet sourdough cheese toasties at this year’s Winter Wonderland. If you fancy and are in need of a little hug in a bowl, you can also order it with a bowl of soup on the side.
Seawise Catering
If you’re a seafood lover, then check out Seawise Catering at Winter Wonderland. You can enjoy the likes of soft shell crab burgers, grilled king prawns, and/or a classic fish & chips
