It’s that time of the year again. We are officially in the festive period as Winter Wonderland opens its doors once again in London Hyde Park. It’s open every day from 14th Nov to 1st Jan (except on Christmas Day) from 10 am-10 pm. Rides and funfair booths aside, food plays a big part in your Winter Wonderland experience. We’ve come a long way from having only churros & hot chocolate to lots more halal food options available at Winter Wonderland year by year! In this article, we’ve put together a list of Winter Wonderland halal food options available for this year and have split them by areas to make it easier for you to find them.
Please note, unlike in previous years, you now need to purchase a ticket for entry to Winter Wonderland. Off-peak tickets are free, which is usually around morning and noon. Otherwise, standard tickets start at £5 per person and peak times cost from £7.50 per person. You will only be allowed entry on your selected day & arrival time, and you are then welcome to stay there as long as you wish.
Where to Find Halal Food in Winter Wonderland
Only Jerkin’
Whenever I see Only Jerkin’, I must treat myself to their incredibly delicious Caribbean fried chicken. Without a doubt, they are one of the most loved street food stalls in town over the years, and their food is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Do not forget to order their signature jerk gravy – it’s going to be well worth it!
Jollof Mama
Jollof Mama is turning up the heat in Winter Wonderland with their mouthwatering jollof rice and signature suya fried chicken. Whether in the form of a burrito or rice bowl, expect bold Nigerian flavours that’d make you want to come back for more.
Curry On Naan Stop
As seen on BBC’s Britain’s Top Takeaways and a popular spot at Seven Dials Market, Curry On Naan Stop is here to bring you delicious street food from Mumbai and Hyderabad. The menu features a variety of regional classics, from buttery naans to vibrant chaats and dosas.
The Mac Factory
It doesn’t get more comforting than a hearty bowl of mac & cheese on a cold winter evening. Your cravings are all sorted at The Mac Factory, which has been a very popular pick at Winter Wonderland over the last few years. All toppings & fillings are halal except for the Parmesan crumble. Please ask for the herb crumble as a halal substitute.
Bagú
It doesn’t get cheesier than Bagu’s fully halal Swiss-style melted cheese, served over a warm, crusty French baguette. Bringing a taste of the French Alps to Winter Wonderland, it’s the ultimate classic comfort food you can get your hands on. Find them near the Ice Skating rink and treat yourself to a cheesy Alpine Melt Delight.

Uh K Dog
Forget about traditional hot dogs. Instead, go get yourself a halal Korean hot dog from Uh K Dog in Winter Wonderland! Find them at the Market Square, and we recommend going for the ramen coating for extra crunch, and top it with cheetos and sauces.
E8 Fish
It’s the ultimate British classic after all, and you cannot go wrong with a good old plate of halal fish & chips from E8 Fish. But why not switch things up a notch and have a taste of their Nashville Fish Sandos? It’s going to be a flavour bomb!

Not only is Wok Boy popular in Camden Market, but it is also incredibly popular in Winter Wonderland. You simply can’t go wrong with a loaded box of Chinese chow mein, especially when they’re generously topped with some crispy Korean fried chicken!

The combination of smoked brisket and the festive vibes at Winter Wonderland just feels right. Smoketeers is here to give you exactly that with their mouthwatering pulled brisket, whether in the form of a burger or loaded over chips. Other than brisket, they also do delicious steak & chips.
Yorkshire Burrito
It doesn’t get more quintessentially British than a Sunday roast wrapped in a giant Yorkshire pudding. Yorkshire Burrito has been all the hype & attention in Camden Market, and they’ve now come to Winter Wonderland to serve up a hearty roast in the form of a street food wrap.
Meathead Mexican
Meathead Mexican’s birria tacos have set social media into a frenzy, and it remains one of the most popular halal food stalls in Camden Market today. So you’d be delighted that they are joining the Winter Wonderland line-up again this year to serve you delicious halal birria tacos with a consommé dip. Whether it’s the slow-cooked pulled beef, chipotle chicken, or Achiote-spiced lamb tacos, you’re definitely going to be in for a treat.
Baba Side Fried
A brainchild of Baba G’s and Other Side Fried, Baba Side Fried is an exclusive collaboration at Winter Wonderland serving their epic Naanwiches. It features Baba G’s iconic tikka marinated chicken, dredged in Other Side Fried’s signature breading, and all stuffed into a garlic butter naan and doused in naga buffalo and mango ranch.

In my opinion, Hungarian chimney cakes are a must at Winter Wonderland. You can’t go wrong with a classic cinnamon sugar coating, but you can also get Oreo, coconut, or sprinkles. Fancy something more indulgent? Go for their filled chimney cakes with Nutella, Biscoff or white chocolate!

Churros are pretty much a Winter Wonderland tradition. Always treat yourself to some Spanish churros from Churros Ole, and enjoy them with your choice of their in-house-made dipping chocolates, caramel sauce or dulce de leche.

Banana K-Dog is from the fantastic peeps behind Maiz N K Dogs, who are serving crispy fried bananas in corn batter at Winter Wonderland. Keep an eye out for The Dubai, which comes topped with silky pistachio sauce and chocolate drizzle, best with dried raspberries on top for an extra pop of flavour.
