Easily one of the most popular halal Singaporean & Malaysian restaurants in town, Rasa Sayang is no doubt a super popular pick in the area. Our personal favourites include Chicken Curry, Chicken Satay, and Hainanese Chicken Rice. There is always a queue, so head there early if you fancy some homely Southeast Asian food!

Meaning “together”, YiQi Lah takes you on a trip around Southeast Asia, bringing together the flavours of Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia under one roof in London Chinatown. They are especially known for their fiery spicy Ayam Gepuk, served in generous portions

Greedy Sheep is one of the first fully halal Chinese restaurants in London Chinatown, specialising in Northern Chinese street food. You can find classic noodle soups, Rou Jia Mo (i.e. Chinese burger), a small selection of halal dim sum, and more on their menu.

With its prime location in Chinatown, Real Beijing is a popular pick for all-you-can-eat halal Chinese hot pot in London. Even if the weather’s too warm for a hot pot, their separate halal menu includes some à la carte Chinese dishes.

Fancy a late-night Chinese hot pot at 2am? Nan Hot Pot is the place to be. Nan Hot Pot specialises in Chongqing-style hot pot, using a rich beef tallow base with lots of Sichuan chilli peppers to create this fiery, punchy broth for hot pot.

Good Friend Fried Chicken is a longstanding halal Taiwanese fried chicken spot in Chinatown. The constant queue outside the shop speaks for itself. We personally enjoy their popcorn chicken topped with seaweed seasoning!

Have you tried fried chicken that’s bigger than your head? Yep, that’s what it’s like at Monga Fried Chicken. Monga prides itself on offering the juiciest Taiwanese fried chicken by marinating their chicken with honey & frying them in a batter coating. Apart from the traditional seasonings, they have this Chee Z Special on the menu where you get chilli sauce and melted cheese over that piece of giant fried chicken cutlet. You’d want to look away from the calories for this one!
Bunsik
If the Leicester Square branch ever gets too busy, you can find another branch of Bunsik in Chinatown to get your Korean corndog fix. K-dogs aside, they also do Korean fried chicken, kimbaps, cupbaps, tteobokki, and more Korean comfort street food.
