2023 Ramadan London Iftar Menus

Ramadan Mubarak, everyone! Alhamdulillah, another year of Ramadan has arrived upon us. Fancy a meal out for iftar? We got you. There are many restaurants around London offering Ramadan specials & iftar menus this year and we’ve put them all together here on this list for you. Whichever of these restaurants tickles your fancy, you’d want to get booking asap as it’s going to get busy. Without further ado, here’s a list of London iftar menus and something to look forward to after a long day of fasting!

Where to have Iftar in London this Ramadan


The Great Chase

There is no better place to have iftar than at The Great Chase. Not only does the restaurant serve fine halal contemporary European dishes, complemented by a fully alcohol-free drinks menu, but it is also equipped with a prayer space and the best Ramadan vibes in London! This year’s Iftar menu includes a 3-course menu, priced at £39 pp, and all served with dates, bread, and chai.

Honey & Smoke

Part of the Honey & Co restaurant family, Honey & Smoke is a Middle Eastern grill house known for its contemporary take on traditional grills. For this Ramadan, an Iftar menu will be available from 22nd Mar to 21st Apr, featuring 3 courses priced at £65pp. Additionally, 10% of Iftar Menu sales will be donated to Choose Love, in support of the Turkey & Syria Earthquake Appeal.

Mr. White’s English Chophouse

Fancy steak for iftar? Then check out Marco Pierre White’s Mr. White’s English Chophouse in Whitechapel, who’s offering a 3-course Iftar set menu this year, priced at £39 pp. You’ll be starting with complimentary Medjool dates & a mocktail, then enjoy a couple of starters, before moving on to the mains, sides, and desserts.

Meli-Melo

This south London halal dining gem is offering a 5-course iftar tasting menu for £37 per person, which will include its signature beef roast, mini wagyu burgers, and many more. Meli-Melo prides itself in adding a fine dining twist to its food, meaning you’ll totally be in for a treat there!

Guanabana

The longstanding halal Latin Caribbean restaurant, Guanabana, is offering Ramadan Plates for iftar this year, featuring lamb ribs, grilled jerk chicken, fried plantain, rice & peas, coleslaw, and mac & cheese. Additionally, for every Ramadan Platter purchased, £2 will be donated to Islamic Relief’s Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal.

Ramoramen (Soho & Camden)

Also operating in the Maginhawa group as Guanabana, Ramoramen is offering Ramadan specials for iftar at both their Soho & Camden branches. The halal Filipino-Japanese fusion restaurant will be serving Curry Ramen with chicken katsu. Additionally, halal wagyu is also available and both branches will be serving iftar plates as well. Bonus points for the Kentish Town branch as there will be prayer rooms available.

Bintang

Another one from the Maginhawa Group, Bintang is offering a Ramadan chicken wings platter alongside their iftar plates. You’ll get to have a little taste of different Filipino flavours from the platter such as Sweet Adobo, Spicy Carabao, and Salt n’ Pepper. Other dishes available include Filipino Lamb Rendang, Pandesal Sliders, Beef Sigsig, Ukoy Fritters, etc.

The Orangery

Run by the leading wedding caterer, Sapna, you can trust that The Orangery will be serving nothing but good homely Lahori food. The Iftar set menu is priced at £37.99 pp (half price for kids), which includes dates & pakoras to break your fast with, followed by a range of starters, mains & desserts, plus karak tea/coffee.

Ritu London

For £30 per person, you can enjoy a lovely iftar platter from the popular Indian restaurant, Ritu London. The menu starts with dates, fruit, traditional rose & nut sherbet, and Laban, followed by a range of appetisers (think of Corn & Jalapeño Samosa and Stuffed Yellow Pepper Pakoras). After that, you’ll get a duo of Chukander Chicken Tikka and Nawabi Style Lamb Chapli Kebab, served with Masala & Cheese Kulcha.

MexiCasa

Thought about having Mexican for iftar? MexiCasa is a halal Mexican restaurant in Stratford and is offering a 3-course Ramadan menu at £25 per person. You’ll be starting with vegetable soup & dates, followed by lamb chops/half baby chicken & stuffed aubergine, finished with chilli chocolate brownie or churros for dessert. Prayer space is available at the restaurant and 15% of all iftar menu proceedings will be going to charity as well.

The Terrace Bakery

Enjoy a Middle Eastern iftar feast at The Terrace Bakery, which is offering a 4-course menu with a drink, priced at £60 for two people (so £30pp). This includes a range of classic mezze such as kibbeh & hummus etc., as well as a new chicken biryani on the menu. In terms of desserts, milk cake lovers will be delighted to choose between their Original Dulce de Leche or Saffron Dulce de Leche slices.

That Fat Cow

Not one for dining out but you can create a taste of top restaurant-quality food at home with That Fat Cow’s Ramadan meal kits. This year, you can choose from the wagyu burger or taco box, both including chocolate dates and are available for nationwide delivery. The taco box comes with a gorgeous wagyu bavette steak, steak rub, corn tortillas and all the ingredients you need to make a mean guacamole.

Indi-go at Selfridges Food Hall

Another one to enjoy at home is Indi-go’s Ramadan iftar box. Each box feeds 4 and is available to pick up exclusively at Selfridges Food Hall. You’ll be treated with a range of drinks (including Mango Lassi), as well as samosas, biryani, chaat, kati rolls, curries, etc. Orders for the iftar box must be placed via phone or email. Any orders placed before 12 pm will be available for same-day collection.

Bird & Tie
