Following the success of its Tottenham Court Road site, Arcade Food Hall has opened at the iconic Battersea Power Station, and we think it’s bigger and better! The Battersea Arcade Food Hall houses 500 seats, 13 food stalls, two bars, three restaurants and a private dining room. There are plenty of halal food options available, and all these dishes are marked with (h) on the menu. Come check out our Battersea Arcade Food Hall Halal Food Guide and find out our favourite dishes there!

Where to Find Halal Food at Battersea Arcade Food Hall
Bebek Bebek
Inspired by the night markets in Indonesia, Bebek Bebek brings exciting and vibrant flavours of Indonesian hawker kitchen classics to London. We enjoyed the Smashed Chicken Leg, ie. Ayam Geprek, featuring well-spiced fried chicken topped with sambal. Being steamed before fried, the chicken turned out incredibly juicy and succulent, enveloped in a wonderfully seasoned frying batter. The sambal carries a good kick of spice and is bound to send some fireworks to your taste buds! We also tried the Beef Klopo, i.e. satay skewer, which we find decent but not outstanding.

Tipan Tapan
It’s all about momos at Tipan Tapan. Momos are Nepalese dumplings, typically served over a bed of jhol sauce or tossed in a spicy chilli sauce. Having tried both, we recommend getting the regular chicken/lamb momos over the chilli momos. They carry a light kick of spice and offer a beautiful dance of flavours on your palate!

Manna
You can’t ever go wrong with a good smash burger. Manna’s hot smash burger hit the spot with its top-quality beef and touches of pickled jalapenos. Together with their lip-smacking spicy waffle fries, it’s a dream combo to have. No wonder it’s one of the more popular halal burger spots in London.

Hero Indian
Hero is a North Indian fast food kitchen that’s all about the cracking chatpatta flavours of Indian street food. We recommend getting the BBQ chicken tikka (also available in a kathi roll) with a side of masala tots. They also offer a Hero’s Feast sharing menu, priced at £28 per person, which is ideal for group dining.

Solis Grill
The Latin-American grillhouse has become a staple restaurant name for halal steak in London. Solis Grill is a sit-down restaurant at the Battersea Arcade Food Hall, but it is also available at the food hall side with a smaller, more sandwich-focused menu. We tried the Steak Sub and Meatball Sub – both were good, but the latter stood out more in our opinion.

Mexa
Excited for another halal-friendly taco spot in London, unfortunately, Mexa fell short during our visit. We tried the lamb birria tacos, and they were missing the rich umami flavour we were anticipating.

Shatta & Toum
Founded by Kian Samyain, i.e. the person behind the legendary Berenjak, you know it’s going to be quality food at Shatta & Toum. “Shatta” refers to chilli sauce, and “Toum” is the garlic sauce. As its name suggests, it’s all about Middle Eastern shawarma wraps on the menu, featuring fresh Khobez bread enveloping a generous amount of rotisserie chicken and marinated minced lamb. Additionally, you can find a small range of mezzes too.
