Lotus Biscoff White Hot Chocolate Recipe

Hot chocolate season is among us again! Are you a dark chocolate drinker or a white chocolate drinker? If you are the latter, you must check out this Lotus Biscoff White Hot Chocolate recipe! This is totally one for those with a sweet tooth. I don’t usually go for white chocolate but would happily go with it for this recipe because it’s just so indulgently good. The warmly sweet Biscoff spread pairs especially nicely with the decadence of white chocolate and makes a fantastic combo. Depending on my mood, I sometimes like to include a pinch of cinnamon in there as well and – boom – it’s got that perfect final cosy touch in there. This drink is rich and indulgent, and it just doesn’t get more satisfying than this.

How to make Biscoff White Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Biscoff Spread
  • White Chocolate – chunks/chips
  • Milk – I used whole milk but feel free to experiment with other milk of your choice
  • Cinnamon Powder (optional)
  • Whipped Cream (optional) – for topping

Recipe Notes

  • You can use white chocolate chips or chunks – whatever you can get your hands on! Keep them in small chunks/sizes so that they melt easily.
  • No sugar is needed for this recipe. Both white chocolate and Biscoff are already very sweet on their own so this drink definitely doesn’t need any more sweeteners! If anything, if you find it too sweet, simply reduce the amount of chocolate and/or Biscoff to lessen the sweetness.
  • It is completely optional but I love using my hand milk frother to whisk the milk till foamy. I like that it adds another layer of texture and mouthfeel to the drink. Though this is entirely optional if you don’t have one.

Notes

  • It doesn’t matter if you use white chocolate chips or chunks for the recipe as long as the chocolate can melt. The smaller the size the easier it melts.
  • Frothing the milk adds a layer of texture to the drink. This step is completely optional but I personally would recommend doing so!
